Regardless of the floor area of this application it is an enormous extension for a small Edwardian terrace house with small garden, stretching nearly the entire length of my garden, to within two metres of my summerhouse, with a huge brick wall three metres high and six metres long. It cannot be considered appropriate for a residential terrace of this kind. Moreover it is supposedly just for a kitchen! l suspect other uses may really be intended. The householder has only lived there since July this year. IN ADDITION - please note that there is another application concurrent with this one, for a dormer roof extension and loft conversion. These two applications must surely be considered together, as part of one development. Again I am suspicious - I suspect he hopes the works have a better chance of being approved if considered separately. Please let me know how these matters are considered. Ralph I Cook.
